First half let it down.

Animation/Artwork in pretty much the first half was really bad.
That department got better towards the end but It probably would have been better if Kirbopher did it all.
Jokes were ok but Chris' animation+voice combined with Rina's voice and writer skillz are what made brawl taunts 1 and 2 successful.

Disappointing, could have been acceptable/above average if some decent animators were found for the first half.

Well. .

Commenting first on the animation. The art was something that vaguely resembled a person and could have been drawn in a couple of minutes. There wasn't any REAL animation I could instantly see just a couple of different posed pictures put together and then stretched up and down or side to side to imitate speaking - which I would think someone to be rather weird if they did that in real life. You said you wanted animation to be simple, the trouble is it isn't simple it is absolutely basic and without effort - making it bad for me.

Voicing was great, well timed and pitched right in the appropriate parts. It made me chuckle a couple of times and was overall funny and fitted the topic.

Basically, this flash was great because of the voicing. Take away the animation and, to be honest, it wouldn't have made a difference and I still would have chuckled at the audio.

Put some effort into the animation next time because that sort of thing can be done in less than a few hours and you shouldn't be put on the same page as animations that have taken people weeks and months to accomplish and are such great pieces of animation.

People are a bit over-rating this. I'm not trying to be abusive but I'll give my honest opinion.
Animation was great at a FEW parts but then a lot of it is quite cheap and you take quite a lot of short cuts like instead of doing a walking animation you do a zoomed out view of him bobbing up and down. You also cut out the scene of him ripping off santas head which I know I would rather have seen than just see the after effects.
Another example of cheap animation was the kidnappers laughing T.T .

The narratives philosophical crap was just common knowledge to me and It was often annoying because of it (to me).
The dialogue was corny and not in a good way.

The ending was pretty stupid. A guy who has been speaking about his Philosophy on christmas and his ultimate goal to come and steal money from the mall wouldn't get SHOT, KILL someone and then walk away without taking ANYTHING he had come for. He could have grabbed a little cash.

The style is unoriginal and its obvious your inspiration is from films such as Sin City but it fit the mood well. The Art and graphics was pretty good too.

But seriously, this wasn't as good as most others are saying. I've gone to the trouble of analyzing and writing this review so you can get better rather than be fooled that you are making something ABSOLUTELY amazing.

I liked it when he kneed the guy in the face though. . .

Yeah. .

I'm not gonna lie.
Graphics were very bad. If your using a mouse then fine, some but not all people can still use a mouse to draw decent to amazing art but I suppose they have natural manuevability. If you can't atleast draw decent with a mouse then using a wacom isn't gonna help much. (Unless you traditionally animate - paper)
Animation was terrible - most of it was tweened. Try using FBF and consult tutorials ETC.
Sound was average.
Humour, if backed up with better, more enthusiastic voice acting and more appropriate animation may be funny. But you would have to be a genius.
I wouldn't suggest trying to copy another persons style for a first animation as this shows no originality and you are more likely to just TRY and be like another animator - rather than having your own style - and are never gonna be as good as the original artist.
Consult the tutorials, get better at animating, become more original and try to improve from this.

Great Animation

Brilliant Animating great fighting - couldn't see any repetition.
I hope Indiana Jones is that Acrobatic in the 4th one! (pun - hes an old man now D: )

Not very good.

Animation was mostly tweens. Art was lacking. Story was pretty boring. Not very funny.
Sorry it just wasn't very good. That was something that someone could have come up with in a minute and then take about ten minutes animating.

One of the best metal gear shorts I have seen ever. Your animation is pretty great, art is cartoony, good and the voice overs were great.
Made me laugh and was great.

Pretty Good

The animation was pretty flawless but I didn't quite get what was happening. I think the sounds may have been out of sync. Anyways I love the style and I hope to see more from you.
